Fogo de Chao

I’m not a fan of dineLA. I like the concept of everyone having the opportunity to try new restaurants at a discounted price, but prix fixe menus generally suck. Therefore, the only restaurant I go to for dineLA is Fogo de Chao, because they offer the same all-you-can-eat selections at a fraction of their normal menu price. I went during lunch a couple of weeks ago with Greg, Jen, and Jen’s roommate Kate.

To keep it short – this wasn’t my favorite Fogo visit, since it seemed like they didn’t have all the selections during lunchtime (I remember seeing mostly top and bottom sirloin cuts), but it was still satisfying nonetheless. Fogo de Chao is still the standard for Brazilian BBQ, and it’s not even close in my opinion. And the quality salad bar selections, the never-ending accompanying sides, and impeccable service only adds to the enjoyment. Now if they only offered laxatives (although I heard the papaya cream dessert does help)…
